Sitting Bent Knee Forward

  • Sit with one of your legs bent in front of you
  • Your other leg is bent and to the side, slightly behind your body
  • Take a deep breath in

  • Exhale while you place your arms in front of you with your elbows on the mat
  • Keep a straight back, with your ear, shoulder, and hip lined up
  • Continue to lean forward with a straight back and your palms flat on the mat

  • Take a deep breath in
  • Exhale as you round your back tucking your chin

  • Advanced variation: Beginning position your front leg will be bent
  • Your back leg is straight and behind you
  • Your back is flat
