Organization: Teacher’s of Tomorrow Date:
February 11, 2002 Location/Time: WVC – AAS50 Club Name:We discussed and brain stormed names for our new teacher's club. After a vote we decided to use the name "Teacher's of Tomorrow".
Logo:We passed around 3 pages of logos and everyone present indicated the ones they liked and disliked. We decided that we will continue to use the heart logo until a new one is chosen. The next meeting we will have a single sheet with only the top 5 logo's on it. Everyone will then cast their vote for the final logo.
Mission Statement:We liked the mission statement that Shauna and Barbara put together based on their internet search and combined ideas. We will use it until a "Mission Statement" can be created during a meeting.
Bylaws & Constitution:Everyone voted to use the sample constitution. The constitution can be amended at later meetings.
ICC - "Becoming a real club" requirements:Before the next meeting (Feb 25 & 26) Shauna, Barbara, Nelly and other people signed up to be officers will submit the forms to the ICC office. Those who signed the paper are:
FlyerThe flyer made by Shauna and Barbara was approved by those present. Once we choose a new logo we will update the flyers, web page, and other paperwork
