This year at T4T is going to be innovative! Expanding our
website, composing a complete resource guide, hosting speakers with a wide variety of teaching experiences, building relationships with one another, and
expanding the club. I fully intend to work hard for the T4T this year, because
I believe in the value of T4T!

Renick, Deborah - VP Community Service & Partnering
My name is Deborah
Renick but my friends know me as “Deb Deb”.
If you’d like to know how I got such a nickname, just ask.
For
those of you that I have not met, I am a returning student, back at school
after a 30-year absence. I am attending WVC full time and I have just completed my
first semester. In 2004, I will
transfer to SJSU to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a
major in English. I am looking
forward to teaching in an elementary school.
I have enjoyed doing as well as
planning and coordinating activities. Some
of these activities included being a reader to children in several local
elementary schools, attending the three-day conference on “Good Teaching”,
planning and coordinating the “Cesar Chavez Day” and selling my
“famous” caramel apples at the Food Booth at the Campus Center.
I
have enjoyed all the hard work this past semester and cherish the new
friendships I made. I look
forward to another semester with some new faces and more “fun loving”
events.

Aragon, Shauna - Liaison SCTA Executive Board member -

Shauna has completed her A.S. degree in Child Studies, her A.A. in
Liberal arts and is finishing her lower
division course work. She also attends classes at the University of San
Francisco. Her objective is a Masters Degree and to
work in
the education profession as an Administrator and instructor at the community
college level. She
is married and has a 7 year old daughter that keeps her busy.
