As I am brand new to this and undecided as to
whether to go into teaching, I’d like to be a member of one of the
committees. I’m willing
to help where needed, but my first preference would be the finance committee.
I have a BS in math & computer Science, an MS in CS.
I am interested in tutoring/teaching math..

My name is Deborah
Renick but my friends know me as “Deb Deb”.
If you’d like to know how I got such a nickname, just ask.
For
those of you that I have not met, I am a returning student, back at school
after a 30-year absence. I am attending WVC full time and I have just completed my
first semester. In 2004, I will
transfer to SJSU to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a
major in English. I am looking
forward to teaching in an elementary school.
As
Vice President of Events & Fundraising, I have enjoyed doing as well as
planning and coordinating activities. Some
of these activities included being a reader to children in several local
elementary schools, attending the three-day conference on “Good Teaching”,
planning and coordinating the “Cesar Chavez Day” and selling my
“famous” caramel apples at the Food Booth at the Campus Center.
I
have enjoyed all the hard work this past semester and cherish the new
friendships I made. I look
forward to another semester with some new faces and more “fun loving”
events.

I would like to be on the membership committee
because I believe I have some good ideas for getting more people to join our
club. Last year I was the VP of

Hildreth,Elizabeth - VP Community Service & Partnering
Good Day!
This is Elizabeth
Hildreth emailing, and I wanted to send in my paragraph for the up-coming
elections. The position I'd like
to run for is located in section 13 on the TOT constitution, aka VP Community
Service and Partnering. I am so
excited at the possibility of helping our community and making new friends who
are on the same path as myself.
I've come to West
Valley from Leigh High School, and was so happy to find out about this
organization. It has been a
long-term goal of mine to become a teacher, more specifically
a
high school English teacher.
In the past I have worked in many community service projects including
organizing blood drives, soliciting registration to voters, working the polls
on election day, preparing meals for and feeding the homeless, and helping
with preparation and special projects in the classroom, including the Art
Vista program.
My experiences and service will help me to better serve this club. I am
eager to serve as your Vice President of Community Service and Partnering.
Thank you for considering my application.
