This is an accelerated class designed to provide you with the knowledge to pass the Technician Class amateur radio license exam at the end of the day.
Upon successful completion of the exam the Federal Communications Commission will grant a license to you, with your unique call sign, within a few days.
Once your license is granted you will be able to legally operate certain ham radio equipment.
You are then in a position to expand your CERT radio communication capabilities.
We plan to offer a seminar/course in basic communication and equipment operation in the near future
to guide you through the process of setting up and using your handheld transceiver.
