What is the Skills Lab?

The ESL Skills Lab helps English as a Second Language students with grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, spelling, and writing. You can get the extra practice you need by working with workbooks, textbooks, audiotapes, or computer programs. You will receive individual attention from a qualified ESL professional.

The Skills Lab may be for you if:

• you are not ready for college courses,
• you are enrolled in an ESL or other course and would like to refresh your skills, or
• your schedule doesn't allow you to come to campus regularly.

If you are interested in practicing speaking (not available in the Skills Lab), consider signing up for the International Partners Program.
