Theatre Program
The Theatre program at West
Valley College is geared to both performers and technicians. There are
opportunities for students of all experience and skills to become involved
in performance through our classes or in our two mainstage and two studio
productions per year.
Actors:
Actors develop the special skills needed for a variety of performance experiences. Whether students are interested in scene study techniques, performance styles, improvisation, or they just want to gather courage to speak before a group of people , the acting classes and productions will bring them to their goals. Students can participate in small and large performance venues, as well as in classroom activities. There is a place for you on our stage!

Technicians:
Technicians discover the challenges of creating sets, costumes, lights, and sound in their classes or for specific productions. Using the best equipment on the market today, they are guided by experienced Theatre Designers and Technicians in a completely hands-on-environment. Whatever your age or experience, the Costume and Technical Theatre program has a place for you!
