Robert Cornejo Robert Cornejo is instructor of music theory and music appreciation online. Robert has completed studies at the University of British Columbia, McGill University, and Central Washington University. His music has been twice awarded with the SOCAN Young Canadian Composer Competition. Mr. Cornejos choral work, Grand Chorus, was awarded first prize in the contemporary category at the Kathaumixw International Choral Festival. He has also received Canada Council Grants for the commissioning of new music and for compositional studies. Works for piano have been published and premiered at the National Conference of Piano Pedagogy. Mr. Cornejo has sung with the Vancouver Cantata Singers and the Montreal Symphony Choir. Locally, he has adjudicated for Heritage Festivals, East Side San Jose School District, California Music Educators Association, Northern California State High School Choral Competition, and guest conducted the San Jose State University Concert Choir
