Advanced Marine Diving Certificate
Students who choose to fulfill the advanced Marine Diving curriculum "certificate of proficiency" will be well prepared to enter the workforce proficient in advanced marine diving skills.
Students will be qualified to seek employment as an Accident Management, Rescue, and Search and Recovery Diver for a variety of government agencies and businesses in the private sector.
Students will also have a strong foundation in the skills required for a career as a Dive Safety Officer at aquariums, colleges and other institutions focusing on marine research.
PE 7.23 Beginning SCUBA - 2.0 unitsPE 7.24 Advanced SCUBA - 2.0 unitsHED 005 First Aid/C.P.R. (or equivalent) - 1.5 units
SCUBA Leadership Certificate
Students who choose to fulfill the SCUBA Leadership curriculum "certificate of proiciency" will be well prepared to enter the workforce as a SCUBA Instructor or Divemaster in dive shops and dive resorts throughout the world. Students will also have a strong foundation in the skills required for a career as a Dive Safety Officer, Rescue Diver, Evidence Diver or Research Diver at aquariums, colleges, and other instutions focusing on marine research. The certified student will also be qualified to seek employment as a Divemaster, or a SCUBA Instructor at aquariums, commercial and research dive vessels and the marine diving industry.
