Welcome to the MDEP Student Center. Information in this section is intended for current students of the West Valley College Marine Diving Education Program.
SCUBA diving is a fun, exciting, and SAFE activity. To ensure a positive learning environment, it is important that students attend all sessions and arrive at class prepared for the days lesson. This includes completing all reading and homework assignments prior to class. Like most academic courses, failing to prepare is preparing to fail. Due to safety considerations involved with SCUBA, students that are unable to meet necessary requirements for water safety may not qualify for pool and/or ocean training.
