Scholarships
Our scholarships are designed to recognize accomplishments and to provide tangible encouragement to students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community service, and financial need.
2013-14 West Valley College Scholarship Application
Each year the West Valley College Scholarship Program awards approximately 200 scholarships ranging from $200 to $3000. The funds for these scholarships are provided from a joint investment of contributions from the private sector and from West Valley College employees. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 30, 2013.
2013-14 West Valley College High School Seniors Scholarship Application
West Valley College will award 20 scholarships in the amount of $1000/each. The application deadline is Thursday, May 30, 2013 by 4pm in the Financial Aid Office.
2013-14 Outside ("External") Scholarships
Many foundations, professional associations, religious and ethnic organizations, and corporations offer grants and scholarships. These awards are based on a wide variety of qualifications including, financial need, academic achievement, religious affiliation, ethnicity, community service, and special interests.
Some of these organizations request that we announce their scholarships to our students. These scholarships are posted on the bulletin board at the Financial Aid Office and on the WVC Portal.
