  • Lie on your back allowing your natural curve to occur
  • Keep your knees bent with your feet flat on the mat
  • Arms at your side, palms flat
  • Take a deep breath in…

  • Exhale as you flatten your back to the floor
  • You should feel your spine, neck, and the back of your head pressing against the mat

  • Continue to exhale as you tuck your pelvic area up: The lower part of your seat lifts from the mat as your spine presses to the mat
