Every other Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. the veterans club has a meeting at the Veteran’s Resource Center, which located in the Campus Center next door to the bookstore. One of the goals we have at our veteran’s club meetings is to gather the thoughts and ideas our veteran students have that will improve their experience at West Valley College. Most of our meetings present opportunities for veterans to connect with each other, and share stories and personal experiences. I know that I have swapped many stories with many people over the course of the semester. So come by the Veteran's resource center, we are always looking for more veterans to show up.
Dear Veteran's,
Come join us from 11:00am to 12:30am on Tuesday, November 27th 2012 in the Veterans Resource center as Becky Perelli facilitate a focus group that will be focused on support services, mental health services, and other areas that West Valley can improve on to make this college a more veteran friendly campus. Please come and voice your opinions so that our future veteran brothers won’t have to encounter the same difficulties we have and our stay here at West Valley would be as smooth as possible.
