West Valley College offers a Work Study program designed for CalWORKs students to obtain valuable work experience while attending school.

• Obtain a part-time job either on campus or in the private sector that pays competitive wages.
• Wages are EXEMPT from being counted as income from your CalWORKs budget computation -- all the money you earn is yours to keep.
• Work hours will count toward your 32-hour requirement.
