Harry Wong's Web Page The is the most recommend book for a new teacher to read before stepping into a classroom.  If you ask a seasoned teacher what book they would recommend to a new teacher - this would be it.
Master Plan of Education California is in the process of creating a "MASTER PLAN" of education.  Some of this is good for teachers (and early childhood education) - but some is not.  NOW IS THE TIME to get involved and to give your input.  The state has set-up a web page.
