Sitting Arm Extension

  • Sit with your feet flat on the mat, knees together
  • Your arms are hugging your knees
  • Chin tucked, your forehead is resting on your knees
  • Have a slight pelvic tilt
  • Keep your stomach and lower back tight
  • Take a deep breath in

  • Exhale as you let go of your knees, keeping your knees together
  • Arms extend to your sides at shoulder height
  • Continue to breath slowly as you hold your arms to the side
  • Finish by bringing arms in to the beginning position
  • Chin tucked, forehead resting on knees
