Straight Back Overhead

  • Sit up with both legs straight and together
  • Your knees and toes point toward the ceiling
  • Keep a straight back, with your ear, shoulder, and hip lined up
  • Have a slight pelvic tilt
  • Extend you arms over your head towards the ceiling, squeeze your ears with your arms
  • Take a deep breath in, exhale as you begin to stretch

  • Keeping your back straight, with a slight pelvic tilt, lean back just enough to feel your stomach tighten
  • Hold as you continue to breathe slowly and deeply, exhaling as you extend the stretch
  • Sit up straight again and lower your arms
