ACE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

(1^st & 3^rd Thu/mth 2:30-5; Also as Needed,Both Colleges)

Charge: The Association of College Educators Union represents all faculty in matters concerning

compensation and working conditions.

Terms: President - 1 year

Vice-President - 1 year

Council Members - 3 year term

Grievance Officers - 2 years

Newsletter Editor - 2 years

Budget Analyst - 2 years

Negotiators - 3 year terms

 

PERFORMANCE GOALS COMMITTEE WSCH/FTE - MC

(2nd & 4th Mon/Mth,10:30 - 12)

Charge: PGC determines and monitors the annual WSCH/FTE goals for each department and other service

areas in order to meet the overall assigned workload goals.

Terms: Three year terms - match DC terms.

 

PERFORMANCE GOALS COMM. WSCH/FTE/WVC

Charge: To establish and monitor WSCH Goals and FTE allocations for West Valley College Departments. Also allocates classrooms.

(Note: The chair is rotated among faculty members each month.)

Terms: Three year terms - match DC terms.

 

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT

(Wednesdays or Fridays as Needed)

Charge: To administer the District's PG&D Program.

Terms: Four year terms.

 

SABBATICAL LEAVE COMMITTEE

(4x/year as Needed, Alt Campus)

Charge: To review and recommend or reject applications for Sabbatical Leaves as well as write specifications

for and review compliance reports.

Terms: Three years.
