The West Valley College Baseball program consistently produces outstanding student-athletes, many of whom have gone on to play collegiate and/or professional ball. Guided by head coach Josh Blunt and his knowledgeable staff, the Vikings strive to achieve both academic and athletic success.

Chris Balcolm-Miller was drafted in the 6th round by the Colorado Rockies of this years pro draft and on top of that he was the first JC player taken in Northern California.
Chris had an oustanding season, with a team-best 3.02 ERA, he was selected to the 2009 All Northern California Team.
