The West Valley College Men’s Soccer team is currently gearing up for the 2010 Spring Season and are very excited to be facing NCAA Division II competition in addition to some of the usual junior colleges. This year’s spring schedule will allow new and returning players to gain experience and exposure at both the two and four year levels of collegiate soccer. With a powerful mix of new and returning players, the Vikings look as strong as ever and are ready for battle.

The West Valley College Men’s Soccer Program is one of the premier junior college programs in California. Under the leadership of Head Coach Gaspar Silveira, the team has amassed numerous League Titles and a State Final Four appearance. With a long and rich tradition of success on the pitch and in the classroom WVC Men’s Soccer teams are perennial play-off contenders that play attractive soccer. WVC players have also transferred to a variety of institutions ranging from NCAA Division I, II, & III to NAIA.

The program boasts its own soccer specific playing field, a 75′ x 110′ Bermuda grass field, and two additional training fields. The immaculately kept facilities are some of the finest in Northern California.
