Lindsay Autio
Head Softball Coach

Coach Autio has a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in sports management and sport psychology. She is currently working on her Strength and Conditioning certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Coach Autio brings enthusiasm and knowledge with her to West Valley. Coach Autio has been coaching at the College level for 4 years. She worked two years at the Stanford Advanced Softball Camps and was a hitting and pitching instructor at Mike Murphy’s Softball Academy in Concord, Ca. She worked closely with professional baseball players and coaches on developing an exceptional eye for instructing hitters. She is also a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Autio played two years at Chabot College and two years Div II at California State University Hayward. Coach Autio works hard to improve her players and continually seeks new information from experts in the field. She takes pride in seeing her student athletes succeed on the field, in the classroom and at the next level.

“I’m very excited to be here and to have the opportunity to coach at West Valley. The school has a long history of success and I look forward to continuing the tradition.” Autio said.
