West Valley:
Shelby continues her sophomore campaign with us after a stellar freshman year and sophomore XC season. Shelby is a 4-time All-Conference award recipient in both Cross Country and Track along with being a 3-time MVP award winner. In her final stint as a Viking this Spring, Shelby plans to make huge strides with her experience gained over the last year and a half.

2004 Cross Country Season: Led team for five of eight races ... Finished 8th at the Coast Conference Championships ... Earned All-Conference honors ... Finished 4th at Crystal Springs Invitational ... Voted 2004 Team Captain ... Named 2004 Most Valuable Runner.

2004 Track & Field Season: Won both the 1500 and 800 meters at the Coast Conference Championships with very respectable times of 5:05.88 and 2:26.83 ... All-Conference honors in both ... Finished 6th and 8th at the NorCal Championships in the 800 and 1500 meters, respectively ... Named 2004 Track MVP.

2003 Cross Country Season: Top West Valley finisher all season ... Finished 12th at the Coast Conference Championships ... Earned All-Conference honors ... Finished 9th at Crystal Springs Invitational ... Named 2003 Most Valuable Runner.

High School: A three-time state meet competitor in cross country while at Milpitas High School ... Member of relay teams

High School Career Bests: 400m (); 800m (); Crystal Springs (); Toro Park (); Woodward Park ()

Collegiate Career Bests: 800m (2:26.83); 1500m (5:05.88); 5000 meters (20:58.57); Crystal Springs (19:30); Toro Park (19:57); Woodward Park (20:06)
