West Valley: Having never run competitively in high school didn't stop Heather from joining the Cross Country team halfway through the season. Heather worked her way up and became our top finisher at the State Championships. Now she will show her talents on the track as a Viking.

2004 Cross Country Season: Led the Lady Vikings at the State Championships to a 12th place finish ... Placed 13th at Coast Conference Championships and NorCal Championships ... Earned All-Conference and All-NorCal honors ... Helped ladies finish 3rd in Conference
