Three West Valley College Basketball Players from last year’s playoff team have moved on to pursue their careers at four-year schools. All Conference Guard Marqus Crawford has signed on at Bethany University while fellow All Conference players Isaiah Pfitzer and Devon Mynhier have moved on to Notre Dame de Namur University. Congratulations to these student-athletes as they pursue their educational and athletic goals at the next level.

Four WVC Vikings earned All Conference honors last week when the Coast-South Conference named its All Conference Team. Marqus Crawford was named to the First Team All Conference. Devon Mynhier was named to the Second Team All Conference. And Daniel Ginn and Isaiah Pfitzer earned Honorable Mention status. Congratulations to these players on a great season.
The Vikings ended their season in second place in the Coast-South Conference and finished up with a first round playoff loss to Shasta College last week.
The West Valley Vikings Basketball Team earned a #17 seed in the Norcal Playoffs and will travel to Redding to face #16 seed Shasta College Wednesday, February 24th at 7:00pm. The winner of the game will then face top-ranked Ohlone College Saturday, February 27th in Fremont. The Vikings finished the regular season 14-14 and tied for 2nd place in the Coast-South Conference at 8-4.
