Volleyball is the truest team game. There is no way to excel at volleyball without your teammates. Every great kill requires a great set and every great set requires a great pass. The program at West Valley emphasizes a strong team concept enhanced by a team retreat and various team building activities. We believe that relationship is key...to the player, teammates, family and friends. Our job is to assist the player in accessing her talent. We have a holistic, educational approach to coaching our volleyball athletes.

West Valley College offers a quality, competitive Women's Volleyball program that is a member of the Coast Conference-South. In the past 5 years, West Valley has had an overall record of 98-26 (.790) and a conference record of 62-3. West Valley has taken 1st in the Conference for the past 5 years. Additionally, West Valley has finished within the top 5 statewide for the last 4 years.
