WVC Student Update
Finals Week!!!
May 17, 2020

Dear Vikings,

For eight weeks you have had to navigate through the ripple effects of COVID-19 and being sheltered in place. What did it take for you to finish this semester? How did you navigate through all the obstacles? Who did you lean on? Who supported you? What did you learn about yourself?

Congratulations, you found a way to complete this semester during these unprecedented times. Soon, spring 2020 will be a memory but my hope is that you will never forget. That you will be able to draw on everything you learned about yourself: strength, determination, hard work, and the ability to keep working towards your goal of completing this semester during one of the most challenging times in the history of our nation. Please allow your spring 2020 lessons and accomplishments to fuel you for a lifetime. I will forever be in awe of you.

Debra
