Course Description
This course covers basic concepts and common methods used by biotech and chemistry lab technicians, including making solutions and media, and using pH meters, autoclaves, sterile and fume hoods, micropipetters, and microscopes. Important practices such as aseptic and sterile technique, lab safety and proper waste disposal are also discussed and demonstrated.
