NCFM 003: Energy Auditing Fundamentals \u2013 Commercial Buildings

Course Description

This course provides a general overview of skill sets needed by students and incumbent workers who are interested in a career involving Facilities Maintenance and Energy Analytics & Auditing. Some of the primary subject topics that are discussed include: the definition of an energy auditor, the difference between residential and commercial energy audits, the different levels and types of energy efficiency audits, the history of audits, energy efficiency and sustainable upgrades and practices, indoor air quality considerations and impacts, driving forces with legislation, and the ASHRAE LI walk-through assessment process report generation.
