West Valley College Prepares for Accreditation Recertification by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC)
(Saratoga, CA) West Valley College is preparing for a site visit from an ACCJC accreditation team that will conduct a peer review process for recertification. Every six years California Community Colleges engage in peer-to-peer review of processes and practices to ensure that colleges meet accreditation standards.

Peer review is a time-honored hallmark of higher education and we are excited to present our beautiful campus and incredible faculty, staff, and students to the Commission,” said West Valley College President. “The accreditation process helps us continually improve the way we support students along their pathway to reach transfer and career goals in an environment of excellence.”
The accreditation team will visit West Valley College from March 9-12, 2020. The public is invited to provide comment to the visiting team no later than February 23, 2020, by visiting Accreditation.
