Welcome to West Valley College Virtual Campus

Over 4,000 West Valley College students participate in Distance Learning each year. Also known as eLearning, or distance education, Distance Learning courses allow students who do not have the flexibility to attend traditional on-campus classes to pursue their educational goals. Instead, students work independently at their own pace and interact through various communication tools and technologies, including a variety of online resources. In addition, students can access a variety of online student services in support of their academic program. West Valley College Virtual Campus offers fully accredited online courses and telecourses (television courses) transferrable to many four year colleges and universities.

Except for exams, regular campus attendance is not required. Enrollment is accomplished in the same manner as any other course through T-Reg, Admissions & Records, the WebAdvisor, or you may add the course at the orientation meeting if applicable. Each course combines guidance and instruction, well designed lessons and textbooks. TeleCourses run concurrently with regular on-campus classes.
