Three-day public event, May 16-18 highlighting graduating students’ work throughout the West Valley College Bill & Leila Cilker Art & Design school. The EXPO is open daily from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM for self-guided tours. If you would like to attend one of our scheduled EXPO events, please see below.
Afternoon screen-printing on May 16 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM with OaxaCali Studios. Join us in the Student Lounge in Cilker to make your own Cilker swag screen-print t-shirts and totes. This is open to all WVC students, faculty, and staff. BYO t-shirt and/or tote to participate.
An evening for students to share their portfolios with creative industry professionals. If you are a West Valley College graduating student, we invite you to sign up and bring your portfolio to review. This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your craft, get career advice, and maybe secure a job. Industry professionals have been selected by our collaborating partner Content Magazine, the media platform for the arts and creative culture in the South Bay Area.

In addition to Industry Night, the WVC Film Club is hosting a student-led Film Festival in conjunction with the Cilker Art & Design EXPO on Thursday, May 16 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in WVC's Studio Theater (MU-12). The festival will feature shorts by West Valley students and club members as well as a few of our best alumni films "from the archives," in celebration of West Valley's 60th Anniversary. Popcorn and refreshments will be served - Join us for the fun!

Night two, May 17 is the main event! Featuring student work, our annual fashion show with creative direction by Simon Ungless & Content Magazine’s Pick-Up Party 16.3 “Perform." Content Magazine’s issue features several of our art students and celebrates retiring Design Faculty Chair Diane Hurd. The evening begins at 6:30 PM followed by the Fashion Show at 8:00 PM and a designer meet and greet and retirement party to follow with a live set by Ambervox.

Dance Caravan is a performance produced by WVC for West Valley and Mission College classes, along with professional dance artists in the Bay Area. This year's show will take place on Saturday, May 18 at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM in the WVC Theater.
