The Fashion Design Program at West Valley College is a professional, effective training program that will prepare you for an exciting career in the fashion industry.
Our program is designed to meet your needs. Take classes to re-train, update your skills, or complete the program in Apparel Design.
The West Valley College Fashion Design Program is dedicated to promoting sustainability, social justice, and inclusivity in our program and courses. A strong foundation in responsible sourcing and design is critical for fashion designers entering the workforce, and our coursework reflects that imperative. Students have access to the spacious Alyce Parsons Production Lab with industry-standard equipment. Our program is also invested in advanced technology and its application in the fashion industry. In addition to a Maker Space, complete with 3D printers, laser printers, CNC routers, and other tools, we offer accredited coursework in 2D/3D pattern making using CLO3D.
We recognize that training in the technology currently found in the industry gives West Valley College Fashion Design students a leading edge when entering the changing job market, and we strive to prepare our students for the workforce or transfer to 4-year institutions.
