This year on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 - California is having a statewide special election. Every vote, including yours, on Proposition 50 shapes the future of our community and nation.
Register To Vote
- Deadline: Register or update your information by Monday, October 20, 2025 to automatically receive your mail ballot.
- Registration: If you are 18 or older and a U.S. citizen, take a few minutes to register at registertovote.ca.gov.
- Pre-Register: If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can pre-register today at registertovote.ca.gov. Your voting status will immediately activate when you turn 18.
- Moved recently? Changed your name? Check your registration status on registertovote.ca.gov to prevent any last-minute issues.
Cast Your Ballot
Choose from three simple options to cast your vote:
- Mail It: Return your completed ballot as soon as possible. Postage is free. Must be postmarked by November 4, 2025.
- Drop It: Conveniently use our official Ballot Drop Box right here at West Valley College. The ballot box is located in front of the Fox Center building near the flagpole area. View the campus map.
- Vote In-Person. Visit any county Vote Center from October 25–November 4. This is also where you can use Conditional Voter Registration if you missed the October 20, 2025 deadline.
