West Valley College is currently seeking 3-4 performers to bring our dynamic mascot duo, Vik and Viktoria, to life at campus events and in the community.
Vik and Viktoria are some of West Valley College’s most recognizable ambassadors. From cheering on the Vikings at athletic events to appearing at campus celebrations and community gatherings, the mascots help create memorable moments and showcase the spirit of West Valley College. If you are outgoing, energetic, and enjoy engaging with crowds, this could be a great opportunity to represent the Viking community.
This opportunity is an independent contractor. In the college's experience, these services are typically provided at a $40 per hour rate for appearances and events.

Are you ready to be the Vikings? Follow these steps to submit your proposal form:
- Complete the online proposal form: Become the mascot!
- If selected, you will receive an email with instructions to schedule a 20-minute interview and tryout with the Marketing and Communications department.

Before submitting your proposal form, please review the following requirements for the role:

Selected independent contractors will help represent West Valley College at events throughout the year and play a key role in bringing Viking spirit to campus and the broader community.
