Geospatial Technology is an ever-changing field! We are influenced by it daily, our navigation systems in cars, our smart phones and the variety of apps that exist.
The three primary areas that make up this technology include: GPS (Global Positioning Systems), GIS (Geographic Information Science) and Remote Sensing.
The skills required in these areas can lead to a full and interesting career path or supplement an existing career. Our program here at West Valley College has been in place since 2000. We use the most current software in these areas. We are now offering courses online in our geospatial program. We look forward to you joining us in our program.
