Course Description
In this course, students have an opportunity to learn how Excel can be used to effectively prepare and analyze accounting information. The course introduces basic, intermediate, and advanced Excel functions such as formulas, shortcuts, worksheet management, pivot tables, conditional formatting, charts, macros, tables, and other useful tools. Students then have a chance to apply these functions to create and analyze accounting reports, financial statements, and financial forecasting models.
