Course Description
This course introduces students to the roles and responsibilities of a home health aide. Students have an opportunity to explore workplace safety, infection control, and basic caregiving principles through lectures, discussions, and interactive assignments. Ethical and professional standards, as well as cultural, social, and family dynamics, are examined to prepare students for real-world caregiving scenarios. The course provides foundational knowledge and builds critical thinking skills.
