ARCH 062: Architectural Design II

Course Description

This course is an architectural design studio. Instructors cover human, social, technical, and aesthetic factors related to space and form. Additional topics include designing as a conceptual discipline directed at the analysis, interpretation, synthesis, analyses of precedents, and transformation of the physical environment. Exercises are aimed at developing an understanding of the issues, elements, and processes of structural and environmental design. Students have the opportunity to develop their architectural creativity by using software such as Rhino, SketchUp, and Revit.
