Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of illustration, emphasizing principles of design, color theory, sequential visual storytelling, and the history of illustration. Students have the opportunity to explore drawing, composition, and media techniques via a variety of media, including pencil, ink, and digital tools. Key topics include character design, figure drawing, mechanical rendering, still life, landscape and atmospherics with applications in publishing and entertainment.
