Course Description
An introductory course using microeconomic models to understand individual decisions by consumers and firms, market outcomes including market failure, elasticity, market structures, labor markets, inequality, and the impact of government policies. Students from all backgrounds and with various educational goals have the opportunity to gain valuable critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help improve their academic, work, social and personal lives. This course used to be ECON 001B.
