Course Description
This course is designed to provide second language learners of English with a broad range of topics related to socio-economic, constitutional, political and historical topics including holidays and symbols of the United States. The focus of the course is on communicative English skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking as related to knowledge of U.S. historical periods from the mid-twentieth century to the present.
