GERM 002A: Intermediate German

Course Description

This course covers culture and facilitates language acquisition through high-level listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Instructors provide students with content beyond ''survival'' needs of the immediate environment and covers intermediate linguistic functions, such as expressing personal opinions, offering suggestions on familiar topics, and making plans, as well as conversing on some abstract issues. Students have an opportunity to learn high frequency structures and high level vocabulary in the course as more complex discourse is presented.
