Hannah grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida, and first attended college at Daytona State College. After earning her AA degree, she attended the University of Florida (UF) where she completed her bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Women's Studies. She continued her studies at UF where she earned her master's degree in Gender, Sexualities, and Women's studies. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education Administration at UF and expects to graduate in 2023.

While Hannah previously worked as an instructor and researcher at UF, she has a deep passion for the community college mission as it centers access, equity, and community responsiveness. This passion stems from her personal experience as a community college student, so she aspired to a career in the community college space. She began working as an Admissions Specialist at Santa Fe College and fell in love with helping students reach their goals. She is excited to continue to help West Valley Students students live happy, healthy, and successful lives.
