At the request of the President, Dean Shannon Mirabelli-Lopez is chairing the Public Art Committee to establish a structured and transparent process for reviewing on-campus art and installation proposals. The committee includes representatives from the Cilker School of Art and Design, the Park Management Department, and West Valley College Facilities.
We welcome submissions from members of the college community and the public. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed during monthly committee meetings. The committee is enthusiastic about supporting creative initiatives that enhance our college environment and we look forward to seeing the inspiring ways artists envision engaging with our campus.
To submit your idea, please complete the Public Art Proposal Form. Committee members may reach out with questions during the review process.
Please note that the Public Art Committee serves in an advisory capacity and makes recommendations to the college administration. Final approval of all projects rests with the Executive Management Team.
