Template
A uniform email signature throughout each department helps reinforce West Valley College's brand and identity. Follow the steps below to set up your email signature in Microsoft Outlook. Before following the setup guides, have these documents downloaded to your computer:

Note: If you use the Outlook web app and the Outlook desktop app, you will need to setup both individually.

- Log in to Outlook Web using Single Sign On (SSO).
- Go to Settings > Account > Signatures.
- Click on New signature. Type in a signature name.
- Open the downloaded West Valley College email template (.docx).
- Highlight all content by typing the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+A (Windows) / Command+A (Mac).
- Once all of the document is highlighted, type the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+C (Windows) / Command+C (Mac).
- Paste the content on the signature editor. Type the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+P (Windows) / Command+P (Mac).
- The image does not transfer from the Word document. Left of the text, click on the blank space. Next click on the image insert icon. Select the downloaded West Valley College logo.
- Replace placeholder text with your information.
- Click on the Save button.
- Under Select default signatures: "For New Messages" and "For Replies/Forwards", select the new signature.

- Open Outlook on your desktop.
- Go to File > Options > Mail.
- Click on the Signatures button.
- Click on the New button.
- Type a name for the signature.
- Open the downloaded West Valley College email template (.docx).
- Highlight all content by typing the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+A
- Once all of the document is highlighted, type the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+C
- Paste the content on the signature editor.Type the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+P
- Replace placeholder text with your information.
- Click on the Save button.
- Under Select default signatures: "For New Messages" and "For Replies/Forwards", select the new signature.

- Open Outlook on your desktop.
- On the top menu go to: Outlook > Settings > Signatures
- Click on the + icon. An edit window will pop up.
- Type a name for the signature (default is Untitled).
- Open the downloaded West Valley College Email Signature template.
- Highlight all content by typing the keyboard shortcut: Command+A
- Once all of the document is highlighted, type the keyboard shortcut: Command+C
- Paste the content on the signature editor by typing the keyboard shortcut: Command+P
- Replace placeholder text with your information.
- Click on the Save button.
- Under Select default signatures: "For New Messages" and "For Replies/Forwards", select the new signature.
