Apple Student Internships At Apple, interns are an important part of the team. Whether you sign on for a summer internship or a co-op during the academic year, you can work on critical projects on an Apple campus. As part of the Apple community, you’ll get an insider’s perspective on the way we work and the people who lead us. To be eligible for Apple’s student programs, you must be enrolled in a college, university, or graduate program.
Bloom Energy Our interns work on tangible projects, right alongside Bloom Energy employees. CHORI Summer Student Research Program The CHORI Summer Student Research Program is designed to provide an unsurpassed opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the world of basic and/or clinical research for three months during the summer. The CHORI Program provides students with a research training experience to stimulate interest in pursuing a career in biomedical, clinical, basic and/or behavioral research in a friendly and nurturing environment.
Cal-Bridge Summer (CAMPARE) Participate in cutting edge research in astronomy, physics, planetary and space science, or astrobiology, at one of our 15 partner world-class research institutions. students are recruited to participate in undergraduate research projects for 8-10 weeks in the summer. Students are paid a stipend, and travel and housing expenses are included. To be eligible for the program, applicants must have completed at least one full year of college-level physics by the summer of the program. For additional details of expectations and requirements for each site, visit the CAMPARE Research Opportunities pages. Applications for the Summer 2021 program are due Monday, February 1, 2021.

NASA STEM Engagement Internships Interns use their creativity and innovation to work on projects, impacting NASA's missions, such as returning to the Moon. You will work with leading expert and gain valuable experience as you participate in research and mission projects. Applicants for this must be U.S. citizens.
National Institutes of Health Community College Summer Internship Program in Biomedical Research. National Institute of Health provides an opportunity for students to do an internship in Biomedical Research opportunity.

The Nautilus Science and Engineering Internship Program Aims to train community college, undergraduate, and graduate students studying ocean sciences, technology, engineering, and video in the at-sea environment. Intern positions entail 2-5 week periods working aboard E/V Nautilus as Data Loggers, Seafloor Mappers, ROV Pilots, or Video Engineers. All interns spend their time on Nautilus working with a wide array of scientists, engineers, students, and educators. Rosetta Commons Interns in this geographically-distributed REU program have the opportunity to participate in research using the Rosetta Commons software. The Rosetta Commons software suite includes algorithms for computational modeling and analysis of protein structures.
Santa Clara Valley Water District - Valley Water’s Summer Internship Program Our summer interns often sublet from San Jose State University or Santa Clara University Students. Please note that even for virtual internships the intern must perform their work in the state of California not more than 150 miles from Valley Water office. Our summer internship program is for Juniors and above based on your college transcript for Fall of that year. A current sophomore could apply for our summer internship program as long as they would be a junior on their Fall transcript.
Stanford Summer Community College Premedical Program (SSCCPP) The Stanford Summer Community College Premedical Program (SSCCPP) is current community college students in medicine providing exposure to medicine and health through topics in health disparities, leadership challenges in health provision and administration, science success strategies, professional development, clinical exposure, successful preparation for the medical school application process, postsecondary and graduate/professional school financing. This summer internship opens applications every December-March 1st.

West Valley College scholarships are designed to recognize accomplishments and to provide tangible encouragement to students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community service, and financial need.

The funds for these scholarships are provided from a joint investment of contributions from the private sector and from West Valley College employees.

Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship The Adobe Research Women-in-Technology Scholarship recognizes outstanding female undergraduate and master’s students studying artificial intelligence/machine learning, data science, computer science or mobile/web development at North American universities
AfterCollege STEM Inclusion Scholarship AfterCollege provides quarterly scholarships to support current students who demonstrate professionalism and a passion for their future career.
American Association for Women in Community College The national board of AAWCC supports the advancement of community college women into leadership positions. As a commitment to the mission, the Board will award a scholarship to a national AAWCC member who works at a community college to attend the LEADERS institute. The AAWCC scholarship for LEADERS will include registration.
American Association of University Women (AAUW) Local Scholarship awards are granted to women whose permanent home address is in Campbell, Milpitas, San Jose or Santa Clara; who have completed two full years at an accredited college or university and have been accepted for enrollment in a four-year college or university at the third year level in the fall of 2021; and who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The 2021 Local Scholarship application is available for downloading and will be accepted from 12 am PT on March 1 until 11:59 pm PT on April 15, 2021.
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing the representation of Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.
Asian American Architects/Engineers Association (AAa/e) Scholarship Each year, the Asian-American Architects and Engineers Foundation offers scholarships to full-time students pursuing a career in the AEC Industry (architecture, engineering, construction, etc.), who have demonstrated a measurable level of involvement/ service to the Asian-Pacific Islander community, and are a student member of AAa/e.
California Community Colleges Scholarship Endowment (CCCSE) To be considered for a CCCSE Osher Scholarship, you must go through the application process at your individual college. Students with financial need will receive top priority for scholarships. Criteria may differ between colleges, check in with financial aid office and scholarship link.
Community College Scholarships California scholarships and grants make it possible to attend an institute of higher education in this exciting state. Whether you long to go West or already live there, California scholarships help pay for tuition, books and necessary expenses.
Engineering and Technical Science Achievement Scholarships Applicants for the Engineering and Technical Science Achievement Scholarship must be a woman undergraduate majoring in engineering or technical science. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.

Google Scholarships+: Generation Google Scholarship (North America) The Generation Google Scholarship was established to help aspiring students pursuing computer science degrees excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive $10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or $5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada) for the 2021-2022 school year.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund The HSF Scholarship is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage obtain a university degree. Scholarships are available, on a competitive basis, to: High school seniors, Undergraduate students (all years), Community college students transferring to four year universities, and Graduate Students.
Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship STEM Core students are encouraged to apply. The deadline is March 11.
Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program is the first of its kind within the aerospace and defense industry and awards up to $6,600 to as many as 150 recipients each year.
NASA Harriett G. Jenkins Predoctoral Fellowship Project The Harriett G. Jenkins Predoctoral Fellowship Project aims to increase the U.S. talent pool of underrepresented groups, including women, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities who receive Master's and Doctoral degrees participating in the STEM workforce.
National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering NACME is responsible for over $3 million in scholarships awarded annually to underrepresented minority (URM) students. NACME expects to support approximately 1,000 underrepresented minority engineering and computer students annually.
National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals Award scholarships to LGBTQ+ or LGBTQ-supportive students currently enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or STEM-related teaching fields.
National Society of Black Engineers The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community." Scholarships are for members of NSBE.
PG&E Scholarship At PG&E we're focused on California's future. PG&E has a wide range of scholarships to help the next generation of Californians succeed and innovate in both Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) based majors and other disciplines.

Close to 150 scholarships were made available last year. These STEM-focused or Employee Resource Group and Engineering Network Group-sponsored scholarships range from $1,000 to $10,000. is dedicated to help students find scholarships at the local and state level, major, ethnicity and gender identifying scholarships.
Silicon Valley Community Foundation SVCF administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school seniors, college and graduate school students, and re-entry students. Annually, we award close to 500 scholarships totaling more than $2 million. Through scholarships established with SVCF by individuals, families and organizations, we have awarded nearly $17.9 million to students since 2007.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Scholarships available for active SHPE Membera (To become an active member, please visit and select “Join” in the top right hand corner of the webpage.), minimum Cumulative GPA: 2.75 (This is a cumulative GPA as listed on the transcript of your latest academic institution.) and plan to pursue a STEM degree.
SWE Scholarships: Society of Women Engineers The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. In 2018, SWE disbursed approximately 238 new and renewed scholarships valued at more than $830,000.
