Strategy and Equity

Advancing Opportunity, Access, and Belonging at West Valley College

At West Valley College, the Strategy and Equity Area is dedicated to transforming education and the work we do on campus through a lens of equity, purpose, and opportunity. Guided by the leadership of the Vice President of Strategy and Equity, our area aligns bold vision with meaningful action to remove barriers, expand access, and build a future where every student thrives especially those historically underserved in higher education.

We lead campus-wide strategies and partnerships that center student voice, lived experience, and community impact. Through cross-functional collaboration, culturally affirming programming, and data-informed innovation, we uplift the full humanity of every student and create pathways to personal, academic, and career success.
