Dr. Robert Bravo

Superintendent, Campbell Union High School District


Dr. Robert “Bob” Bravo has 34 years of experience in education and has served as the Superintendent of Campbell Union High School District since 2016. Under his leadership, the district successfully passed a $275 million facilities bond in 2016 and a $474 million bond in 2024 that will fund needed facility repairs, technology upgrades, and school site improvements.

In addition, the districtwide college-going rate has increased, schools have implemented successful “1-to-1” Chromebook programs, Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways have expanded to every school site, and a dual-enrollment program with West Valley College was launched to provide free college credit to students.

Maria Q. Reyes is an accomplished engineer, educator, CEO, and published author. During her 25+ year career in higher education, she secured over $25 million in grants from organizations such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Department of Education, and Department of Labor, supporting her work in developing diverse public-private partnerships that promoted STEM education for K-16 students.

In her current role, Reyes integrates innovation and workforce development into Google's extensive technical infrastructure. In 2022, President Biden appointed Reyes to the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics in America. As one of 21 commissioners, she served on the Workforce and Economic Opportunity Committee, offering recommendations within this area.

 

Dr. David M. Toston

Dr. David M. Toston Sr.

Superintendent, County Office of Education


Dr. David M. Toston, Sr. was appointed by the Santa Clara County Board of Education as County Superintendent of Schools on April 16, 2025, and officially began his tenure on May 1, 2025. He has more than 25 years of experience in education, marked by progressive leadership roles and a vigorous commitment to equity and systems transformation.

Dr. Toston is a seasoned educational leader devoted to transforming systems for underserved students. With a blend of administrative, policy, and classroom experience, including leadership within special education and strategic statewide initiatives, he is guiding the Santa Clara County Office of Education toward a future where educators are empowered with the tools, support, and leadership they need to help every student succeed.

 

Jennifer Weeks

Jennifer Weeks

County Librarian, Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD)


Jennifer Weeks was appointed County Librarian of SCCLD in 2020. The district serves nine cities and unincorporated Santa Clara County through seven libraries, one branch, two bookmobiles, and an online library. She serves on the California County Library Association Board, CLA Advocacy Committee, and the Silicon Valley Library System Administrative Council.

Weeks began in advertising and development in the private sector before joining SCCLD in 2003 as a children’s librarian. Her career spans customer service, partnerships, and executive leadership focused on community impact. She values the power of connections and reading to build up communities.

 

Hannah Tabor

Hannah Tabor, Ph.D.

Program Analyst - Student Needs, West Valley College


Dr. Hannah Tabor is a community-minded, social justice–driven higher education practitioner, researcher, and instructor. As a proud community college alum, she earned her associate degree at Daytona State College, then completed her bachelor’s, master’s in Women’s Studies, and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and Policy at the University of Florida.

Passionate about the community college mission of access, equity, and responsiveness, Hannah serves as a Program Analyst in West Valley College’s Office of Student Needs. She supports programs like food resources, transportation, student parent initiatives, and other equity-focused efforts for disproportionately impacted students. Committed to a human-centric, data-informed approach, Hannah strives to create equitable access to opportunities and resources, empowering individuals to lead meaningful, healthy lives.

 

Tania Picardo

Tania Picardo

Program Specialist - EOPS/CARE, West Valley College


Tania Pichardo is an equity-driven higher education professional and proud West Valley College parenting student alum. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from San José State University and a Master’s in Public Administration. Tania has completed the ACCCA Social Justice and Career Advancement Institute and mentors emerging leaders through the Vision Aligned Reporting Academy.

At West Valley College, she serves as EOPS Program Specialist and has held key equity-focused leadership roles, including Acting Equity Director and Acting Director for EOPS/CARE, CalWORKs, and NextUp. A dedicated advocate for student success, Tania co-chaired the college’s 2025–2028 Equity Plan, contributes to accreditation efforts, and actively promotes inclusive practices that empower historically marginalized communities.

 

Amy Vu

Mathematics Instructor, West Valley College


Amy Vu is a faculty member at West Valley College with over 20 years of experience. Amy specializes in mathematics and information technology. She has a passion for learning and helping others. When she is not teaching or working on curriculum development, you can find Amy flipping the pages of a textbook trying to complete a homework assignment for another degree she is pursuing or in the community educating and advocating for voting and civil rights.

 

Jacquelyn Wang

Jacquelyn Wang

Administrative Operations Manager, Stanford University


Jackie Wang is an Administrative Operations Manager at Stanford University and a recognized leader in building equity-centered systems that advance access, workforce development, and organizational excellence. She brings nearly 18 years of experience across corporate, medical, and higher education environments, with a career rooted in strengthening institutions through inclusive leadership, strategic operations, and community partnership

In 2018, Jackie co-founded the Stanford Administrative Champions (SAC), which has since grown into a university-wide community of practice advancing career pathways, leadership development, and mentorship for administrative professionals. Under her leadership, SAC launched a flagship mentorship program with four annual cohorts, a fellowship pipeline for community college students from underrepresented backgrounds, and multiple initiatives focused on professional development, recognition, and community building.
