TEACH Coach Mentoring Program

Welcome back! The TEACH Coach Mentoring Program is accepting applications Fall 2022.

TEACH Coach Mentoring pairs interested faculty members with faculty mentor volunteers personalized and confidential instructional mentoring and career coaching from someone not on your appraisal team or serving as your Department Chair.

TEACH Coach supports ALL faculty:

  1. newly hired faculty who want to learn more about WVC
  2. faculty who want to grow their instruction or improve their appraisal outcomes
  3. faculty who want to develop their careers or get a tenure-track position

Mentees who fully participate in the semester long program receive coaching from trained mentors, become a part of a mentee online cohort, and are awarded the career-building Teach Coach Certificate of Completion upon meeting the program requirements.

Mentors have the opportunity to learn more about cognitive coaching, give back to fellow faculty members in a meaningful way, and possibly earn PG&D or IR credit for their time.
