Course Description

This course is designed to improve student listening and speaking skills at the high-intermediate level. This course gives students the opportunity to comprehend academic lectures adapted for English language learners, practice note-taking, identify main concepts and summarize, and produce outlines. The focus is on usage of the 7000 most common English words and most common academic vocabulary.
